Seoul, Korea, January 6, 2025 - Onion Software signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Rockwell Automation, Cisco and MakinaRocks to help data center customers maximize operational efficiency.
According to Statista, a major market research provider, the global data center market is projected to grow to $438 billion by 2028. This growth is driving demand for the convergence of industrial Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation technologies, making digital transformation a critical ingredient. The four companies involved in the MOU will combine their core technological strengths to help improve productivity and efficiency in data center operations.
Rockwell Automation, the world's largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation will contribute key technologies for data center control technologies applying its programmable logic controllers (PLC) and industrial automation systems.
Onion Software, a leading provider of data center management solutions, will streamline operations with its data center management solutions and middleware technology.
Cisco, a global leader in networking and security, will enhance data center stability and security with its advanced network infrastructure and cybersecurity expertise, while MakinaRocks, a leader in industrial AI, will leverage its industrial AI-driven operational optimization technologies to maximize data center efficiency.
This collaboration aims to help customers achieve AI-powered predictive maintenance and energy optimization, which in turn, can lead to lower operating costs and greater productivity. In addition, the advancement of real-time monitoring and control systems will help improve the safety and reliability of data center operating systems.
